We, the members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, dedicate ourselves to providing professional, ethical and responsive law enforcement services, to the residents, visitors and businesses of our community. We value the public trust given to us as we enforce the laws and preserve the peace in Jackson County.

Hello. I’m Sheriff Mike Winters of Jackson County, Oregon. I am pleased to welcome you to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office website.

Since I took office, each member of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has been asked to be more responsive to the needs of individuals in our communities. I have asked them to find solutions and solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible, given the current resources. I am pleased with our personnel and their work towards our goals and your goals for this department. We could not ask for a better team to accomplish this.

As part of our objectives, we have set up this website to be more effective and productive in working with you, as a member of the community or a fellow professional. Our mission and core values reflect our commitment to satisfying the concerns of the citizens we serve. And, as best we can, we are working hard to respond to these desires on our website as well.
