JACKSON COUNTY COMMUNITY JUSTICE
Jackson County Community Justice provides parole and probation supervision, services and sanction programs making the most effective use of available resources to protect the community, support the rights of victims, promote offender accountability and assist offenders in effecting positive change.
Jackson County Community Justice includes Adult Parole and Probation Services, Juvenile Probation, detention and residential services, and the Jackson County Transition Center. Together they form a framework of services to address criminal behavior and activity in our community and provide a means for offender rehabilitation and restitution. Jackson County Community Justice works collaboratively with partner agencies as well as the citizens of Jackson County to achieve positive outcomes and reduce recidivism.
Our goals and outcomes are accomplished by a team of professionals working closely with the community, treatment organizations and law enforcement agencies to deliver a variety of innovative and effective programs in a balanced approach to justice in the community. Together, Jackson County Community Justice uses evidence based programming to offer the community a nationally recognized sex offender treatment and supervision program, two drug courts, a specialized domestic violence unit, a highly respected Juvenile detention and education program, a 128 bed alternative to incarceration program which focuses on offender rehabilitation and community enhancement, as well as community service programs for both adults and juveniles which delivers services to over 100 agencies, both non-profit and governmental.
