Finance
The function of the Finance Department is to provide Jackson County with:
· Services that support, control and generate income (investment income)
· Debt issuance and administration
· The collection and distribution of property taxes
· Property tax assistance and support to the public
· Property management
· County general accounting services and payroll processing
The Finance Department has three offices in the County Courthouse located at 10 S. Oakdale Ave: the Accounting Office, Treasurer’s Office, and Payment Center.
The Accounting Office is responsible for accounts payable, general accounting services, and payroll processing. It is located on the third floor of the County Courthouse in room 314A. Business hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. For accounts payble or vendor related questions, contact (541) 774-6525.
The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for the support, control, and income generation (investment income) services. It is located on the first floor of the County Courthouse in room 113A. Business hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Payment Center is responsibile for the collection of property tax payments, property management, and manufactured home ownership changes and trip permits. Other offered public services include (links provided if available):
· Dog license sales and renewals
· Jackson County Parks season passes
· Maps
· Map books
· System development charge payments
· Liquor licenses
