New Board of Property Tax Appeals Filing Fee 2012-13

An $18.00 fee will be charged for Board of Property Tax Appeals (BOPTA) petitions filed in the Jackson County Clerk’s office for the 2012-13 filing period ending December 31, 2012.  This fee was approved by the Board of Commissioners on June 27, 2012 as Board Order No. 144-12 which sets Jackson County’s approved fees effective July 2, 2012.
 
BOPTA petitions and filing fees will be accepted in the County Clerk’s office only!!  (cash, checks and bank cards (Mastercard, American Express and Discover card-convenience fee will apply) are acceptable forms of payment)
If you wish to deliver your petition and filing fee in person or by mail please submit to the below address not later than December 31, 2012:

BOPTA appeals forms are available in the County Clerk’s/Assessor’s offices or available online through the Department of Revenue at http://www.oregon.gov/DOR/PTD/Pages/BOPTA.aspx or on our web site at http://www.jacksoncounty.org/clerk
